Our AI analyzes your photo and measures estimated weight, length, width, consistency (Bristol Stool Scale), and visual impressiveness. The formula: (weight Γ 0.5) + (length Γ 10) + (width Γ 5) + (consistency Γ 3) + (impressiveness Γ 5). A perfect score approaches 500+ points.
The Bristol Stool Scale classifies stool into 7 types: Type 1 (hard pellets) through Type 7 (liquid). Types 3β4 are considered the healthiest. Our AI categorizes your submission and factors this into your consistency score.
No. All AI-generated scores, insights, and feedback are for entertainment purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Never ignore or delay seeking medical advice because of something you read in this app.
After submitting, tap "π‘ Get AI Insights" on your results screen. The AI analyzes your photo and provides: likely recent foods, a one-sentence diet analysis, actionable feedback, and a health emoji. This is for entertainment purposes only and is not medical advice. Any lifestyle suggestions generated by the AI are not prescriptions or professional recommendations.
The diet analysis provides likely recent foods and a health emoji for entertainment only. It is not a scientifically accurate food log β the AI is making an educated guess based on visual characteristics. Do not rely on it as a factual record of your diet. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider or registered dietitian for actual dietary guidance.
Submitting Photos
Only clear photos of feces in a toilet or similar context are accepted. Our content moderation AI automatically rejects: body parts, non-poop content, explicit material, or anything not meeting our content guidelines. All content is subject to removal at the Operator's discretion.
Our AI content moderator rejected the photo because it didn't meet our content guidelines. Common reasons: the image is unclear or dark, the subject is not identifiable feces, or the photo contains prohibited content. Try taking a clearer, well-lit photo directly overhead.
You can select a photo from your camera roll or gallery, but for the most accurate AI analysis and contest integrity, we recommend taking a live photo directly overhead within the app. Gallery uploads from other sources may result in less accurate scoring or rejection by the content moderation AI.
On the leaderboard, photos are blurred by default and require a tap or hover to reveal. We do this to keep the app accessible for everyone. Your photo is never shown full-size without a deliberate tap.
Your photos are sent to Google Gemini AI and Anthropic Claude AI for analysis as described in our Privacy Policy. Any AI provider we use may use your data to train their models β we do not control provider data retention or training use. By using the app, you waive any right to request "untraining" of data once shared. We recommend not including personally identifiable information in submitted photos.
Contests & Leaderboards
You need a 4-digit numeric invite code from the contest creator. Each code is single-use β once you redeem it, it cannot be used again. Enter it on the Contests page under "Enter 4-digit code." After joining, the contest will be automatically pre-selected when you make your next submission. You must have an account and have accepted the Terms of Service to join any contest.
Go to Contests β tap "+ Create." Fill in the name, dates, and visibility. For private contests, a unique 4-digit invite code is automatically generated when you create the contest. Share that code with friends. They'll need to create an account and accept the Terms of Service before joining.
After your photo is analyzed and you see your score, a contest selection section appears below the results. Search for any contest by name, tap to select it (you can enter multiple), then tap "Submit." Your entry is saved to the global leaderboard plus every contest you selected. If you joined a private contest via invite code, it will be pre-selected automatically.
